A quick note to let you know that our StayFresh gathering will be taking place at The MaRS Discovery District, instead of our usual meeting place (Centre for Social Innovation).
The MaRS Discovery District is located at 101 College Street. The timing of the event will remain the same (7-10pm). We will be meeting in Collaboration Room 2.
Why the change?
As most of you know, we had a lot of interest for this event. We wanted to experiment with recording a combination of video, audio, and screen-sharing. As such, we felt it was in our best interest to secure a slightly larger venue. MaRS graciously stepped up and offered us their space for this event.
There is one small change, however. We cannot serve any alcoholic beverages due to the potential liability issues that may arise. We would require a liquor license and we felt that a one-time liquor license purchase wouldn’t be a responsible use of the limited funds we have available to us.
We apologize for the last minute change, and any inconvenience it has caused. We will be returning to the Centre for Social Innovation for our May 2009 gathering (details of which we will be announcing shortly!)
