Back in our January 22nd newsletter, we announced an exciting change in the way we are going to be organizing and executing our meetups. While we would still be featuring a guest speaker, we would also be providing entrepreneurs, designers, developers and others in the interactive industry with a time slot to speak about a project they have worked on, a product they have created, or a topic they are passionate about.
To that end, our March meetup, will not only feature a guest speaker but will also feature the first of our Ignite at Refresh Events. The concept: each speaker has 6 minutes and 40 seconds to talk. You have the choice to use a PowerPoint presentation or not. If you decide to go the PowerPoint presentation route, you can have a maximum of 20 slides, with 20 seconds to speak per slide. (We will be providing a laptop to display your presentation, so you don’t have to worry if you don’t have one/don’t want to bring yours, simply provide us with your presentation deck beforehand, and we’ll take care of everything else).
The following people have been confirmed for our next Ignite:
- Erin Bury, RedWire
- Rachel Azagury, Creating a Buzz
- Saul Colt, Freshbooks
- Kieran Huggins, MyTTC
- Noah Godfrey, GigPark
- Leila Boujnane, Idée Inc.
