Ignite at Refresh Events

Back in our January 22nd newsletter, we announced an exciting change in the way we are going to be organizing and executing our meetups. Wired Wednesday - Meetup for Toronto Entrepreneurs

This past Wednesday, we had the opportunity to attend Wired Wednesdays, a monthly meetup for entrepreneurs. This meetup was organized by the fine folks at Red Wire, a social network for entrepreneurs whose HQ is based in Toronto. The purpose of their social network is to “facilitate networking between entrepreneurs and members of the global business community” and “provide users with a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.” It’s an interesting and relevant concept in that you can promote your business in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by others who share a passion for entrepreneurship. If you haven’t joined RedWireNation yet, I would recommend checking out their site at http://www.redwirenation.com/ to learn more about them.

Today, the fine folks at Mesh Conference have unveiled part of the schedule for meshU 2009, set to take place at the MaRS Collaboration Centre in downtown Toronto, ON, on April 6th 2009.

What’s it all about? If you are a designer, developer, project manager, then meshU is for U.
