Back in our January 22nd newsletter, we announced an exciting change in the way we are going to be organizing and executing our meetups. While we would still be featuring a guest speaker, we would also be providing entrepreneurs, designers, developers and others in the interactive industry with a time slot to speak about a project they have worked on, a product they have created, or a topic they are passionate about.

New Format: Pecha Kucha
For the month of March, we are slightly changing our meetup format. We will continue to feature monthly speakers, and in addition to this, we are opening up our presentation time to the community through a presentation format called Pecha Kucha (pronounced “peh-chak-cha”). The concept is to allow anyone to talk for 6 minutes and 40 seconds about a project they’ve worked on, an application they’ve created, or about any topic they are passionate about. Your presentation would consist of 20 slides, with 20 seconds to complete each slide.
If you would like the opportunity to show off something you are proud of, want to get feedback from the community, or help raise awareness about something you’ve done, our Pecha Kucha format is for you! To sign up, simply email the details of your presentation to [email protected] and we’ll get back to you with the agenda for the evening.
