Our next event is coming up, and it’s shaping up to be an interesting one!

Mark Kuznicki will be joining us to talk briefly about the Toronto Open Data Lab, taking place Monday, November 2nd, 2009, from 1:00 – 4:30pm at the City Hall Council Chamber and Members Lounge.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the first datasets to be released to the public from Toronto’s open data program. Facilitated by ChangeCamp organizer Mark Kuznicki, this is a unique opportunity that organizers hope will generate much interest and spark some ideas for new applications that will demonstrate the kind of value that open data can create for the City government and the community at large.

More details about this event can be found at http://remarkk.com/2009/10/09/call-to-action-join-the-toronto-open-data-community/

Erin Bury, community manager at Sprouter will be joining us for a fireside conversation about her experiences at one of Toronto’s hottest startups and how they’ve use social media to build buzz around their product and will also offer some insight into how others can use social media as a conversation starter and customer engagement tool.

We’re doing something a little bit different for this event. We’re looking to reach out to the community help gather any questions you may have for Erin during our fireside conversation.

Simply fill out the form below, or email us with your question and we’ll add it to the list!
